Vertiv AI Solutions Innovation Roadshow comes to Egypt

Vertiv, a global leader in critical digital infrastructure, has announced that its highly anticipated AI Solutions Innovation Roadshow will make its next stop in Cairo, Egypt, today. Wednesday 20 August, 2025.
The roadshow, which will take place at Dusit Thani LakeView Cairo hotel, is part of a global series of events designed to educate and equip customers and consultants with essential expertise for deploying high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure. Vertiv experts will introduce the key infrastructure imperatives for enabling AI, share insights on key challenges and opportunities and give participants a deeper understanding of the latest innovations supporting HPC infrastructure, including their impact on data centre power and cooling systems.

The Vertiv AI Solutions Innovation Roadshow emphasises the essential aspects for adopting AI-compatible infrastructure and service to maintain operational excellence. Discussions will explore power optimisation for AI workloads, alternative energy solutions, and readiness for liquid and hybrid cooling technologies.
Vertiv speakers for the Cairo event include Piorko, as well as Ehab El Hefnawy, regional director for Northeast Africa; Jon Abbott, technologies director, colocation and hyperscale for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA); Mostafa Ismail, field service lead engineer – thermal for Northeast Africa; Abdelfattah Hamdy, senior application engineer – AC power for Northeast Africa; and Mohammed Abbas, technical support manager for Northeast Africa.
A panel discussion tackling the topic ‘AI Data Centre Challenges: Meeting Performance and Efficiency Requirements’, moderated by El Hefnawy, will feature insights from Piorko, Abbott and other industry specialists.
