Disola Tourism Studies Increasing Business Volume to EGP 75 Million by 2025, Expands to Saudi ‎Arabia and Italy

Dina Bakri, Chairman of the Board of Disola Tourism, announced the company’s plans to increase its ‎business volume to EGP 75 million by 2025, as part of a comprehensive strategy to expand and ‎enhance its presence in both local and international markets‏.‏

Bakri emphasized in a statement that the tourism sector in Egypt is one of the most important ‎sectors and a key pillar of the Egyptian economy due to its significant contribution to attracting ‎foreign currency and providing both direct and indirect job opportunities for thousands of citizens‏.‏

Bakri noted that Egypt’s tourism sector has seen remarkable growth in recent years, thanks to ‎governmental efforts to support the industry and attract more investments. She added that the ‎Egyptian market offers significant opportunities for small and medium-sized companies operating ‎in the tourism sector, as these companies can benefit from the vast diversity in tourism types ‎offered in Egypt, such as religious tourism, recreational tourism, and luxury tourism‏.‏

Bakri stressed that the Egyptian tourism sector is not only associated with archaeological and ‎historical sites but also encompasses numerous other investment opportunities supported by the ‎state’s vision and strong government plans for the tourism sector‏.‏

Bakri added, “Egypt’s strategic geographical location makes it a global tourist destination, in ‎addition to its rich cultural heritage with numerous archaeological and historical landmarks.” She ‎affirmed that there are great opportunities in other sectors such as eco-tourism, adventure ‎tourism, medical tourism, and sacred sites tourism, which require additional investments that can ‎be provided by small and medium-sized tourism companies‏.‏

Bakri The Chairman of Disola further stated that the company believes Egypt is a land of ‎opportunities, thanks to the wide-ranging growth potential in the tourism sector, both ‎domestically and internationally. She noted that Disola seeks to capitalize on these opportunities ‎by expanding into new markets and offering innovative services that meet the diverse needs of ‎tourists‏.‏

Bakri also announced that Disola is preparing to open its first branch in Saudi Arabia, specifically in ‎Mecca, before the end of 2024, as part of the company’s plans to expand its activities in the ‎religious tourism sector, which is among the fastest-growing sectors in the Arab world‏.‏

Bakri confirmed that the opening of the new branch in Mecca is in response to the increasing ‎demand for Hajj and Umrah services, as well as religious tourism related to Islamic cities. She ‎added: “Saudi Arabia is witnessing significant development in various economic sectors, including ‎tourism‏.”‏

Bakri pointed out that the Saudi government provides an encouraging environment for investment ‎in tourism, with ambitious plans to develop both domestic and international tourism. “We see a ‎great opportunity in this market to expand our services and offer a unique experience to our ‎customers,” she said‏.‏

Bakri also revealed the company’s plans to expand into Europe, with Disola aiming to open a new ‎branch in Italy by mid-2025. She emphasized that the European market presents a good ‎opportunity for Egyptian tourism companies, especially with the growing interest in cultural and ‎historical tourism offered by Egypt‏.‏

‏”‏We are constantly looking for opportunities to expand our business outside of Egypt, and Italy is ‎considered a strategic destination for us,” Bakri said, emphasizing that Disola sees great ‎opportunities in the Italian market, especially given European tourists’ interest in exploring ancient ‎civilizations and enjoying unique tourism experiences‏.‏

Bakri noted that the company is currently studying a plan to increase its investments over the next ‎five years, with the aim of developing its services and expanding its operations inside and outside ‎Egypt. She stated that Disola seeks to strengthen its position in both the local and international ‎tourism markets by offering innovative services that meet customer needs and expectations, ‎focusing on providing distinctive tourism experiences‏.‏

Bakri praised the significant role played by the Egyptian government in supporting the tourism ‎sector by providing investment incentives, improving tourism infrastructure, and affirming that ‎‎”Egypt is a land of opportunities.” She highlighted that tourism companies can achieve great ‎success if they seize these opportunities. She also commended the substantial support provided ‎by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to investors across various sectors, particularly tourism, which ‎enhances opportunities for economic cooperation between the two countries‏.‏
