ECIC Leads High-Level Egyptian Business Delegation to Tunisia to Strengthen Africa-Wide Economic Partnerships

The Egyptian Business Council for International Cooperation (ECIC), headed by its Chairman Eng. Moataz Raslan, will participate in a series of high-level meetings and institutional engagements in Tunis, Republic of Tunisia, on 9–10 June 2026.
The mission is organized in cooperation with the African Inclusive Markets Excellence Center (AIMEC) chaired by HE Youssef Kordofani and will bring together representatives from leading African economic institutions, business organizations, chambers of commerce, export promotion agencies, and private-sector stakeholders.

And chairmen of export councils along with business leaders representing strategic sectors including agriculture, food industries, manufacturing, packaging, leather industries, investment, logistics, and business development services.
The meetings will focus on exploring practical mechanisms to strengthen economic cooperation across Africa, facilitate market access opportunities, support investment and trade partnerships, and promote sustainable private-sector development.
Among the key topics to be discussed are business matchmaking, African market-entry mechanisms, investment facilitation, SME development, women and youth economic empowerment, and opportunities for cooperation in priority sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, renewable energy, healthcare, transportation, digital transformation, and environmental solutions.
Participating institutions are expected to include representatives from the African Inclusive Markets Excellence Center (AIMEC), the Union Tunisienne de l’Industrie, du Commerce et de l’Artisanat (UTICA), the Tunisian African Business Council (TABC), the Centre de Promotion des Exportations (CEPEX), CONNECT International, and other African and regional economic stakeholders.
Commenting on the mission, Eng. Moataz Raslan, Chairman of ECIC, stated:

Our objective is to create practical pathways that connect businesses, institutions, and investors across the continent.”
The visit reflects ECIC’s ongoing efforts to support African economic integration and to enhance opportunities for Egyptian businesses seeking sustainable expansion across African markets.
