As part of XD||EGEMAC’s diligent oversight of its strategic projects, Eng. Osama Abdallah, Chairman of EGEMAC group, and Mr. Li JianFei, General Manager of XD||EGEMAC, conducted a field visit to both NDHPS4 (66/11kV GIS) and NDHPS12 (220/66/11kV GIS) substations, located in the New Delta region.

The visit aimed to review the latest on-site execution status. NDHPS4 has reached an overall completion rate of 88%, while NDHPS12 stands at 90%—clear indicators that both projects are nearing completion. Intensive efforts are currently underway to finalize the remaining works in line with the highest standards of quality and safety, and in strict adherence to the planned energization schedules.

These two substations are vital components in the national plan to provide reliable power to agricultural reclamation projects and establish the energy infrastructure necessary for development in the New Delta region. They also play a key role in supporting the stability of the national electricity grid, especially in light of the current geopolitical challenges that call for a robust and resilient infrastructure capable of meeting increasing development demands.

When substations like these are built at the heart of Egypt’s future development and infrastructure projects—at a time when global crises are on the rise—the efficiency of our power infrastructure becomes a true reflection of the nation’s strength and resilience.

Energy is no longer a luxury—it is a guarantee of independence, productivity, and sovereignty.

XD||EGEMAC reiterates its full commitment to completing these projects according to the highest technical specifications, ensuring they serve as key pillars in strengthening the country’s capacity to achieve energy security and sustainable development
