Among the  notable achievements, Ameston unveils the “Hydra B5” patrol boat, a groundbreaking endeavor realized in partnership with the esteemed Leonardo Group of Italy and a Cypriot counterpart. Engineered and produced domestically within a rapid timeframe of less than four months, the Hydra B5 exemplifies a paradigm shift in coastal patrol and security operations.

Featuring a payload capacity of 600 kg and weighing in at 1500 kg, the compact vessel spans a length of 2.1 meters, achieving a remarkable speed of 85 knots. Armed with a remotely controlled 12.7 mm Browning machine gun, the Hydra B5 integrates a compact drone for close reconnaissance missions, and can optionally deploy Italian light torpedoes for enhanced operational versatility.

Moreover, the Hydra B5 introduces pioneering capabilities as an unmanned suicide vessel, augmenting its strategic utility in unconventional warfare scenarios.

The Hydra B5 made its debut showcase at the IDEX 2023 exhibition alongside Ameston’s unveiling of the H12 Poseidon drone, a collaborative effort with a Cypriot partner. Designed for reconnaissance, surveillance, and armed engagements, the H12 Poseidon drone boasts an operational range exceeding 150 km and resilience to adverse environmental conditions and electronic countermeasures, equipped with advanced electro-optical and thermal surveillance systems for versatile mission tasks.
